you think it's smth from browser?Usually there're error details when you hover the mouse cursor on the yellow triangle below the "СТАТУС" label.
Alternatively, you can try disabling javascript in the browser settings to get actual PHP error on file uploading.
or php, if it's php version, i made it higher and lower aaaaaand same issue
